‘Neighborhood Hero’

The Barbershop - more than clippers and fades. It has been a staple in the Black community and cornerstone of the culture. A sacred third space where community members, both alike and unfamiliar, can find a sense of belonging. It serves as a safe haven for stories to be shaped and for wisdom from the OGs to be passed on like heirlooms. Laughter echoes and debates spark. It’s not just where we get a haircut-

It’s where we come together, where we grow.

Mr. Ron has been running “Ron’s Cut Masters” for 20+ years. A true visionary, he sets the standard for how a shop owner should go about handling business. I’ve had the pleasure of cutting at his shop for the past 4 years and it has been nothing shy of a truly fruitful experience so far.

Here’s to Black Culture and Black Joy
